LITHIUM MIRACLE MINERAL
Our world is entering into the Lithium Age. Currently all of our cell phones and portable computers are powered by Lithium. Soon most of our cars will also be powered by Lithium. But did you know your body is also powered by Lithium? Yes, lithium is a micronutrient that is necessary for human health and most people are deficient of this essential mineral.*
LITHIA™ is a refreshing NATURAL mineral water dietary supplement containing ionic minerals and other micronutrient necessary for optimum mental and physical health. Each bottle of LITHIA™ contains a total of 2,400 Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of natural life enhancing ionic minerals and half the recommended daily requirement of lithium.*

Element Periodic Table
Lithium is considered a micronutrient that is #3 on the elements periodic table. Based on nutrition research, lithium has also been recognized as a micronutrient mineral that is essential to human health by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the USDA. Micro-minerals (trace elements) are present in body tissues in extremely small amounts but have critically important roles to play in human nutrition and health. The quantity and quality of each Mineral and Trace Element contained in LITHIA™ is important, but combined they create a natural synergistic formula that endows LITHIA™ with legendary therapeutic powers.
Lithium Dietary Deficiency
Based on the experimental evidence, a study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition presented a Recommended Daily Intake of 1mg/day for lithium. 83% of the population are estimated to be Lithium deficient.
Nutritional levels of lithium in a normal diet varies considerably. In North America, sixty five percent of the population intake 0.61 milligrams of lithium per day from normal dietary sources. Another 18.4% receive less than 0.034 mg/day. At 1.2mg/day, only 16.6% of the population were measured to meet the suggested intake.

Lithium and Brain Health
Regardless of age, we often find that our brains do not perform as well as we would like our cognitive and emotional abilities to operate. Neuroscientists know that our brains naturally deteriorate with age causing a progressive decline in cognitive performance and potential mood state impairment. By the time we reach middle age, our reaction time and ability to multi-task is slower. It takes us longer to learn new things and retrieve information.
A research study was published by UCLA scientists in the journal Biological Psychiatry using more sophisticated 3-D imaging. The scientists measured test individuals who experienced as high as a 15% increase in brain matter from lithium intake compared to control subjects who experienced no increase in brain volume.
White and red areas are new brain cells formed from the supplementation of lithium - a 15% increase Lithium is the first natural substance clinically proven to accelerate the growth of new brain cells. Additional studies have also reported on the neurogenesis capability of lithium to improve neurodegenerative conditions such as ALS, Alzheimer's, spinal cord injuries and stroke.

Lithium Dietary Essentiality
Lithium is involved with the functioning of several enzymes, hormones and vitamins, as well as growth and other key biochemical processes in the body. Other mammals placed on low-lithium diets have exhibited shorter life spans, reproductive problems, poor metabolism and behavioral abnormalities.

Lithium Mood Enhancer
In a placebo-controlled study with former drug users (mostly heroin and methamphetamines), 24 subjects (16 males and 8 females, average age 29.4) were randomly divided into two groups, one receiving 400 µg of lithium per day in yeast, the other other placebo, for four weeks. All subjects completed weekly self-administered mood test questionnaires. In the Lithium group, the total (positive) mood test scores increased steadily during the four weeks of supplementation and specifically in the subcategories reflecting happiness, friendliness and energy. In the placebo group, the combined mood scores showed not consistent changes; the happiness scores actually declined. To learn more about Lithium as a natural mood enhancer Click Here.
