LITHIA™  Mineral Water was so renowned that in 1888 the 250 room Sweetwater Hotel Health resort was opened at Lithia Springs with the most modern amenities of electricity and telephones. A train line ran directly from New York City to Lithia Springs with a stop over in Atlanta. Mark Twain, the Vanderbilts, presidents Cleveland, Taft, McKinley,  Theodore Roosevelt, were just some of the rich and famous people who came to the Lithia Springs to drink Lithia™, the Legendary health elixir.  There are many amazing stories about how this rare mineral water had cured the sick and ailing, both rich and poor.  Below you will see the inside of the 1874 Heritage Doctor's office that is located at the Lithia Springs.   Go inside and take a look out the window to see the ancient giant Smiling Turtle who has guarded over the springs for thousands of years.
